I love McDonald's, and I'm not ashamed to admit it

Apparently I never grew out of the love of the golden arches phase. Seems like after watching a show like Super Size me and taking nutrition classes a normal person would give up the fast food habit of McDonald's. Not me. I love it. I used to be embarrassed to say it, but now, I'm here to let you know, I am no longer ashamed. I love McDonald's!

Specifically, I love the french fries, chicken nuggets, barbeque sauce and of course, the heaven-in-a-cup McFlurry. I truly believe a trip through the McDonald's drive-thru makes a bad day significantly better. In February they ran a special on chicken nuggets that we couldn't pass up!

As for my love of the McFlurry...when I want one, I do my best to get one! A typical interaction as follows:

me: "I think I need a treat."
Jeff: "Oh really?"
me: "Yeah, I think I need a McFlurry."
Jeff: (laughs) "Okay"
I always go on as if I need to justify why
me: "I had a hard day, I went for a long run, I just really need it, etc., etc."

Going to McDonald's is almost a weekly tradition now. It's a cheap date night that makes me one happy girl. Jeff is nice and always shares his barbeque sauce with me. I have a good husband.
